Procurement Express, a leading provider of purchase order management software, today announced its collaboration with Vistabeam to implement a comprehensive procurement solution designed to eliminate data redundancy and streamline the entire purchase-to-pay process.
The partnership will leverage Procurement Express’s advanced features, including seamless QuickBooks Online integration, customizable approval workflows, and innovative “Punch Out” technology that allows direct purchasing from major retailers like Amazon while maintaining proper approval controls.
Key Features Driving the Partnership
Comprehensive Dashboard Analytics: The platform provides real-time visibility into spending patterns, purchase order status tracking, and supplier performance metrics. Users can filter data by current month, custom date ranges, or specific departments and projects.
Flexible Approval Workflows: The system supports complex, multi-level approval processes with customizable conditions based on budget codes, general ledger accounts, or custom fields. Approvers can modify orders while maintaining proper authorization controls.
QuickBooks Online Integration: Two-way synchronization ensures that purchase orders created in Procurement Express automatically sync to QuickBooks, while bills created in QuickBooks generate corresponding invoices in the procurement system. This eliminates duplicate data entry and maintains consistent financial records.
Amazon Punch Out Technology: Users can create shopping baskets on Amazon and other major retailers, then seamlessly transfer their selections into the procurement system for proper approval and tracking.
